Meet Dr. Steven Rosenblatt
Dr. Steven Rosenblatt’s career is a testament to his pioneering spirit and dedication to holistic healing. As one of the first Westerners formally trained in acupuncture and Oriental medicine, he has shaped the field of integrative medicine in the United States.
Dr. Rosenblatt began his training under the esteemed Dr. Ju Gim Shek and graduated from the Hong Kong Acupuncture College as the first Western student of Dr. James Tin Yau So. Upon returning to the U.S., he founded the first acupuncture clinic in a medical school at UCLA, paving the way for acupuncture’s acceptance in Western medicine.
He established groundbreaking institutions like the California Acupuncture College and played a vital role in creating licensing standards for acupuncture in states like California, Oregon, and Nevada. With an MD from St. George’s University and board certifications in Acupuncture, Family Practice, and Urgent Care Medicine, Dr. Rosenblatt seamlessly integrates traditional and modern approaches to wellness.
